What We Collect

Newsletter subscribers. If you subscribe to the CUAS Monitor newsletter, we collect your email address. This is stored and processed by Ghost, our publishing platform. We use it solely to send you published content. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

Analytics. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate readership patterns (page views, referral sources, geographic distribution). We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes.

No advertising. We do not serve advertisements and do not share reader data with advertisers or third parties.

What We Don't Collect

We do not collect personal information beyond what is voluntarily provided through newsletter subscription. We do not use tracking pixels, retargeting cookies, or third-party advertising scripts.

Data Storage

Newsletter subscriber data is stored on Ghost's infrastructure. Ghost's privacy policy applies to data processed through their platform. See ghost.org/privacy for details.

Our site is served through Cloudflare, which may process standard server log data (IP addresses, browser type, access timestamps) for security and performance purposes. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy for details.

We process personal data based on consent (newsletter subscription) and legitimate interest (privacy-respecting analytics). This processing complies with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/nDSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us or by unsubscribing from the newsletter. We will respond to data requests within 30 days.

If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you may lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Switzerland, or with your local data protection authority if you are in the EEA.
